ETOWAH COUNTY FARMERS FEDERATION PROVIDES TWO SCHOLARSHIPS
The Etowah County Farmers Federation is helping two students studying at Auburn University achieve their goals of obtaining degrees in the field of agriculture.
Kammie Bowman of Leesburg and Katelyn Waters of Gadsden received $1,000 each. Bowman and Waters were recognized for their achievements and were able to thank Farmers Federation members for their support at the College of Agriculture’s Annual Scholarship Recognition Program, Aug. 20.
The Alabama Farmers Federation, Alfa Insurance and county farmers federations are dedicated to supporting students who are planning a career in an agriculture related field. Each year, these organizations donate thousands of dollars to students throughout the state.
