DELORES MOUNT WINS SECOND PLACE IN HAND-STITCHED QUILTING CONTEST AT COMMODITY PRODUCERS CONFERENCE
August 20, 2012 -
Delores Mount of Crenshaw County won second place in the hand-stitched division of the 2012 Alabama Cotton Quilting Contest hosted by the Alabama Farmers Federation’s Women’s Leadership Committee. Mount received a red ribbon and $100 in prize money at the Federation’s 40th Annual Commodity Producers Conference held at the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel and Mobile Convention Center Aug. 2-4.
