TWO STUDENTS RECIEVE FEDERATION SCHOLARSHIPS

Two Morgan County college students were honored at Auburn University events for receiving Federation scholarships.
Jacob Williams of Eva received the Henry A. Bullard Morgan County Farmers Federation Endowed Scholarship in Agriculture at Auburn University’s College of Agriculture’s annual Scholarship Recognition Program Aug. 24. Williams is studying agronomy and soils at Auburn.
David Reeves received the Alabama Farmers Federation Scholarship at the Federation Scholarship Recipients Luncheon in Auburn earlier the same day. He is a senior studying horticulture at Auburn University.
This year’s Alabama Farmers Federation scholarships were awarded to 23 high-achieving young men and women from Alabama who are pursuing agriculture-related degrees.
The Alabama Farmers Federation, Alfa Insurance and county Farmers Federations are committed to supporting the college dreams of students studying agriculture. These organizations donate thousands of dollars each year to students across the state.
