RUBY NUSS WINS THIRD PLACE IN SEWING AND QUILTING CONTESTS AT COMMODITY PRODUCERS CONFERENCE
August 20, 2012 -
Ruby Nuss of St. Clair County won third place in both the hand-stitched division of the 2012 Alabama Cotton Quilting Contest and the 2012 Alabama Cotton Apron-Sewing Contest hosted by the Alabama Farmers Federation’s Women’s Leadership Committee. Nuss received a white ribbon and $75 in prize money in both contests at the Federation’s 40th Annual Commodity Producers Conference held at the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel and Mobile Convention Center Aug. 2-4.
