2 small envelopes of Knox unflavored gelatin
2 cups crushed pineapple (undrained)
1 cup sugar
1 large angel food cake
1 large (5.2 ounce, 4-envelope) box Dream Whip
2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup chopped pecans

Soak gelatin in 4 teaspoons ice water. Add 1 cup boiling water; let cool. Add pineapple, pineapple juice, pecans and sugar; mix together. Let mixture stand in refrigerator until firm. Whip 2 envelopes of Dream Whip with 1 teaspoon vanilla; fold into gelatin mixture. Rub all brown outside off angel food cake; crumble up cake fine. Line oblong dish with half of the cake crumbs. Put half the gelatin mixture over crumbs. Add another layer with remaining crumbs and remaining gelatin mix. Mix two envelopes of Dream Whip with one teaspoon of vanilla, and spoon on top.
