CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 2 sticks margarine 1 stick butter 1 (8-ounce) cream cheese 3 cups sugar Dash salt 6 large eggs 3 cups plain flour 1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix margarine, butter and softened cream cheese together. Add sugar and salt and incorporate. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition; add flour and vanilla and mix well. Spoon batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Place in a cold oven and bake about 90 minutes at 275 degrees. |
