BAKED ZITI WITH GROUND BEEF

1 pound ground beef
Salt and pepper
1 (16-ounce) box of ziti noodles
1 (15-ounce) container of ricotta cheese
2 (1 lb., 10-ounce) jars of Ragu spaghetti sauce
2 (14.5-ounce) cans Italian diced tomatoes (drained)
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Brown ground beef with a little salt and pepper in a skillet, drain and set aside. Boil ziti noodles according to directions on box, drain and put into a large mixing bowl. Add ground beef, ricotta cheese, spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, mix well.
Spray two 9- by 13-inch casserole dishes with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mixture into both dishes, spread evenly and cover with remaining 2 cups of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture bubbles.
