CHEESE STRAWS 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 2 cups shredded New York Sharp cheddar cheese 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups crisp rice cereal
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and cheese until creamy. Add flour and mix; fold in cereal. Roll into small balls and place on a cookie sheet. Press down with fork, forming a crisscross pattern. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
