MEATBALLS 2 pounds ground beef 1 cup bread crumbs 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley 2 eggs 2 tablespoons chopped onion 2 tablespoons soy sauce Salt and pepper Crushed garlic to taste SAUCE: 1 (10-ounce) bottle chili sauce 1 (8- or 10-ounce) jar grape jelly 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and form into bite-size balls. Place in a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes, until cooked but not browned. Sauce: Stir all ingredients together in a saucepan. Cook over low until sugar is dissolved and jelly melts. Add to cooked meatballs.
