GOLDEN GRILLED HAM 1 smoked, fully cooked ham steak, about 2 pounds 1 cup ginger ale 1 cup orange juice 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 tablespoon wine vinegar 2 teaspoons dry mustard 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Score fat edge of ham. Combine remaining ingredients, and pour over ham in a shallow baking dish. Refrigerate 8 hours or let stand at room temperature 1 hour, spooning marinade over ham several times. Grill ham over slow coals about 15 minutes on each side, brushing frequently with marinade. Heat any remaining marinade and serve with ham.
