EASY MACARONI AND CHEESE 1 cup large elbow macaroni 2 tablespoons butter 1 1/2 tablespoons flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk 2 cups grated Cheddar
Cook macaroni according to package directions. For sauce, melt butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. Add flour and salt and combine. Stir in milk with a wire whisk. Set aside. In an 8-inch square baking dish, layer half of macaroni, half of cheese, remaining macaroni, sauce, and remaining cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Serves 6. |
