BUTTERMILK PIE 1 1/4 cups sugar 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) melted butter 3 large eggs, beaten 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1/2 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, butter, eggs and flour well. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla. Pour filling into crust. Bake for 12 minutes; reduce heat to 325 degrees and continue baking for an hour.
