1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup butter
1 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
8 ounces sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 (10-ounce) can cream of chicken or
mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream

In a deep-sided skillet, saute
onion and garlic in butter. Add
meat, and brown. Add flour, salt,
pepper and mushrooms. Stir and
cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add soup; simmer uncovered 10
minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat
thoroughly and serve over egg
noodles.
