FIRST PLACE BUTTER PECAN BARS
SWEET POTATO COOKIES

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon soda
2 cups flour
1 cup cooked sweet potatoes, mashed
2 eggs
cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 cup chopped nuts

Mix sugars, soda and flour together. Add sweet potatoes, eggs, butter, flavoring and nuts. Spoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen.
