PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE 2 (20-ounce) cans pineapple tidbits 5 to 6 tablespoons self-rising flour 3/4 cup sugar 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 sleeve buttery round crackers, crushed ½ cup (1 stick) margarine
Heat oven to 350 F. Pour pineapple tidbits, including the juice, into a 9-x13-inch buttered casserole dish. Mix flour and sugar together; sprinkle over pineapple. Layer on shredded cheese then cracker crumbs. Dot with margarine. Bake for 30 minutes. May be served as a side dish or a dessert. |
