HENDERSON JOINS AUTO SAVE STAFF AS ASSISTANT MANAGER

A Crenshaw County native, Richard Henderson, has joined the Auto Save Division of Alfa Services as assistant manager. He assumed his duties Nov. 13 at the farm supply headquarters on Fitzpatrick Avenue in west Montgomery. He will be working with Jeff Mayton, manager of the farm supply division of Alfa Services.Henderson, 23, is a 1998 graduate of Troy State University where he received a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis on management, marketing, and business law. Prior to coming to Alfa, Henderson was employed as receiving manager for Hendrick's Homecenter in Troy. As assistant manager, Henderson will be responsible for sales promotions to Auto Save stores throughout the state. Henderson, who grew up in Highland Home, said he's excited about working with farmers and Federation members. "Farmers are some of the hardest working people I've ever met," he said. "Their work ethic and dedication is unmatched by any profession, and I'm proud to be associated with an organization that works to help them." Henderson is a part time minister and is an active member of the Oak Bowery Church of Christ in Pike County where he serves as youth director. He and his wife, Kellie, live in rural Pike County near Troy.
