MISSISSIPPI NATIVE RETURNS AS DISTRICT MANAGER FOR ALFA INSURANCE
MONTGOMERY Alfa Insurance has announced the appointment of Tracey Reid, a native of Crystal Springs, Miss., to district manager responsible for a seven-county area in Mississippi, stretching from Greenwood to Hazelhurst. The move is effective Aug. 1. Reid joined Alfa Insurance in 1986 as a customer service representative in Jackson, Miss. She was promoted to district supervisor in 1987 and named regional administrator for Mississippi and Georgia in 1990. In 1994, Reid became regional administrator for Alabama's south Alabama region. Reid has attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., the University of Mississippi in Oxford and Troy State University in Montgomery. In 1996 she completed the Certified Executive Assistant program. She is a member of the Montgomery Life Underwriters Association and the Life Office Resource Management Association. Reid and her husband, Greg, have one daughter, Emily, and will make their home in Byram, Mississippi.
