FARMERS FEDERATION WELCOMES INTERNS
"MONTGOMERY, Ala.," Two Alabama college students are gaining valuable experience for their careers in agriculture this summer as they intern with the Alabama Farmers Federation.
Sidney Belcher of Headland is working in the Governmental Affairs Department where he performs research on ag nuisance lawsuits, eco-terrorism, tax and education reform, anti-trust actions and constitutional reform.
A graduate of Auburn University, Sidney earned his bachelor's degree in entomology and his master's degree in agronomy. He currently is a first-year law student at Jones Law School in Montgomery.
Callie Bryan of Enterprise is a senior at Auburn University where she is pursuing a degree in ag journalism.
An Ag Ambassador and former Alabama Watermelon Queen, Callie is working with the Department of Public Relations and Communications. Her duties include writing news and feature stories for Neighbors and Friends & Family magazines as well as the Cultivator.
