FARM SUPPLY-AUTOSAVE DIVISION TO CLOSE; NEW AREA ORGANIZATION DISTRICTS ANNOUNCED

The Farm Supply - AutoSave Division of Alfa Services will discontinue operation in the near future. That decision, along with the retirement of Area Organization Director Jimmy Norred, has led to changes in the organization districts for the Federation.
The former 10 Area Organization Districts have been reorganized among the remaining nine directors, each of whom will assume some new counties."We feel that since the area organization directors will no longer be responsible for sales, collections, prospecting and all of the other details involved with service company work, they will now be able to spend more time helping strengthen our county organizations," said Mike Tidwell, director of the Department of Organization. "Our goal was to change the districts as little as possible." The reorganization includes relocating Organization Director David Farnsworth and his family to Talladega County.
