ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
Legacy, Inc., Partners in Environmental Education, has announced it is soliciting and accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. This coming year, Legacy will award up to $27,500 worth of scholarships to undergraduate, graduate and doctoral applicants pursuing an environmentally related career. Eligible students must be residents of Alabama who are enrolled in an Alabama university or four-year college and be considered a junior by Fall Quarter/Semester 2002. Legacy encourages all students pursuing environmentally-related careers to apply. Applications must be postmarked by May 3, 2002. All scholarships will be judged on a competitive basis. Legacy is a not-for-profit organization working to create environmentally responsible Alabama citizens through environmental education.
