ALFA FARMERS TO HOST AREA MEETINGS

Alabama Farmers Federation leaders will be hold a series of area meetings in the upcoming weeks to discuss plans and issues for the coming year. The meeting locations and times are listed below:

• Area 7, Whit Goolsby -- Jan. 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cattleman's Park Building on Hwy. 231 between Troy and Brundidge.

• Area 2, Matthew Durdin -- Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Musgrove Country Club in Jasper.

• Area 8, Louis Coles -- Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. at Po-Folks on the 84 Bypass in Enterprise.

• Area 5, Ralph Golden -- Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. at the Hotel Talisi in Tallassee.

• Area 9, Roy Rigney -- Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dwight Harigan Forest Learning Center on the University of Mobile Campus in Eight Mile.

• Area 1, Tom Jones -- Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Caddo Cafeteria on Hwy. 24 between Moulton and Decatur.

• Area 3, Al Hammond -- Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Tom Bevill Center in Rainsville.

• Area 6, Tommy Martin -- Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Old Perry County High School in Marion.

• Area 4, David Farnsworth -- Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bagley Center in Shocco Springs.
