BRADFORD PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT MANAGER OF ALFA HEALTH

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Janet Mims Bradford, a native of Montgomery, has been promoted to assistant manager of Alfa Health.Bradford has been employed with Alfa Health for 21 years. She began working part time as a billing clerk with the company while she was still in high school. Following graduation, she became a full-time employee with Alfa Health.
Prior to this promotion, she was assistant officer manager for Alfa Health. In addition to her existing duties, Bradford will assist Alfa Health Manager Linda Finney with additional management duties including supervision of department employees. "I really enjoy working in Alfa Health," Bradford said. "It gives me an opportunity to help people with one of the most important insurance policies they own - health insurance. "Blue Cross Blue Shield has been insuring the people of Alabama through Alfa Services for 35 years. We provide individual and family health insurance for people who don't have access to group health insurance. It's great to be able to offer people a product they can depend on." Bradford is married to Alfa Insurance Agent Billy Bradford. They live in Prattville with their two children, Alex, 17, and Will, 11.
Alfa Health currently has over 68,000 policyholders and continues to grow.
