Fourteen young Alabama artists will have their work on display throughout the year as part of the 2004 Alabama Farm-City Calendar. The calendar is part of the Alabama Farm-City program, which in 2003 had a theme of "Focus on Family Farms."

Other students whose work is included in the calendar are Ashley Huter (December 2003) of Munford Elementary School in Talladega County, Cody Meigs (January 2004) of Addison Elementary School in Winston County, Libby Anna Kinser (February 2004) of Lakewood Elementary School in Russell County, Jessica Thornton (March 2004) of Way Home Christian School in Blount County, Darrie Miles (April 2004) of Dixie Elementary School in Lee County, Mollie Dalrymple (May 2004) of New Bethel Elementary School in Colbert County, Allison Riley (June 2004) of Trinity Presbyterian School in Montgomery County, Paige Smith (July 2004) of Iola Roberts Elementary School in St. Clair County, Wesley Gates (August 2004) of Pickens Academy in Pickens County, Kylie Flippo (September 2004) of Pisgah School in Jackson County, Paden Crowder (October 2004) of Snow Rogers Elementary School in Jefferson County, Chelsey Dunn (November 2004) of George W. Long Elementary School in Jefferson County, and Abbi Hood (December 2004) of Colbert Heights Elementary School in Colbert County.

Printing for the 27,000 calendars is funded in part by Alfa Insurance Co., Alabama Farmers Federation and Alabama Ag in the Classroom. The four-color calendars sell for 75 cents each and may be ordered by writing Alabama Farm-City Committee, P.O. Box 11000, Montgomery, AL 36191-0001. A minimum order of 20 calendars is required, and requests must include payment for the calendars plus $3 for shipping costs. Checks should be made payable to the Alabama Farmers Federation.
