COMMODITY LEADERS MEET TO PLAN 2004 AGENDA
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Organizational meetings for the Alabama Farmers Federation's state commodity committees will be held Feb 2-4 in Montgomery. The Federation's Commodity Department again scheduled this year's meetings over a three-day period to allow for expanded discussions. All county commodity chairmen, 1st vice chairmen and 2nd vice chairmen are encouraged to attend. The three-day format, which was introduced two years ago, resulted in increased participation, according to Commodity Department Director Jim Cravey. During the meetings, county commodity representatives will elect state committee members, explore promotion and education opportunities and set priorities for the coming year.
