ALFA INSURANCE CO. SUPPORTS SCHOOL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- Students, parents and teachers at Dunbar-Ramer School in Montgomery County soon will have a new sign at their school thanks to a fundraising campaign that was kicked off March 18 with a $1,600 donation from Alfa Insurance Co.Dunbar-Ramer PTA President Dorothy Lawson said the new sign will promote school identity and community support for the K-8 school, which was created last year following the merger of Montgomery County High School and Dunbar Elementary School. Lawson said the check from Alfa paid for the production of discount cards that will be sold for $10 each. The cards entitle school supporters to discounts at area restaurants and businesses.
