SHENANDOAH VALLEY IS HIGHLIGHT OF BEEF TOUR
The Federation's 2004 Beef Tour will be Sept. 18-24 and will feature the historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The tour will include visits to some of the most beautiful and historical country in America. The tour also will allow participants to visit several historical sites including Civil War battlefields and military memorials. Participants will fly to Roanoke, Va. where two tour buses will guide them through the trip. According to Federation Beef Director Perry Mobley, the beef tour usually fills up quickly, so early registration is advised. Cost of the tour, which includes round-trip airfare, accommodations for six nights, bus tours, five lunches, four dinners and the guide service is $1,102 per person for double occupancy and $1,311 per person for single occupancy. The deadline for registration is July 30, however, the tour may be filled before the published deadline because of space limitations. For more information about the tour, contact Mobley at pmobley@alfafarmers.org or by phone at 334-613-4221.
