GOAT AND SHEEP WORKSHOP TO BE HELD AT ALABAMA A&M
The Alabama Farmers Federation is among the sponsors of a Goat and Sheep Reproduction Workshop to be held Oct. 8 at the Alabama A&M University Agribition Center. The center is at 4925 Moore's Mill Road in Huntsville. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The program will run from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Program topics will include ration formulation, reproductive options (artificial insemination, natural breeding, embryo flush and transfer), feeding and nutrition for reproduction management and fescue grasses and their effects on reproduction. Pre-registration is requested for planning purposes. There is no charge to attend, and a free meal will be provided.
