KATRINA RELIEF MEETING SET FOR GREENHOUSE, NURSERY GROWERS

MOBILE, Ala-- Greenhouse and nursery growers in southwest Alabama who suffered damage from Hurricane Katrina are invited to attend an informational meeting Monday, Sept. 19, in Mobile.

Jack Crawley, district director with the Farm Service Agency in Alabama, will present information relative to disaster assistance relief for greenhouse and nursery gowers affected by Hurricane Katrina.

The meeting will take place on Monday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Jon Archer Center. The center is located at 1070 Schillinger Rd., North in Mobile. For more information, contact regional commercial horticulture agent, James Miles at (251) 574-8445.
