ALFA FARMERS HELPS RENOVATE BARN AT GARRETT COLISEUM

A horse barn at Garrett Coliseum recently received a much-needed renovation thanks to a $60,000 donation from the Alabama Farmers Federation. Alabama Farmers Federation President Jerry Newby, left, congratulates Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks on completion of the renovation. A total of 13 barns are still in need of restoration, according to Sparks. The commissioner said he is encouraging other businesses and agricultural organizations to participate in the renovation project.
