CHILTON PEACH PRODUCTION MEETING SET JAN. 31
Alabama peach growers will gain insight into disease management at the Chilton Area Peach Production Meeting on Jan. 31 in Clanton.
CLANTON -- Dr. Phil Brannen, fruit pathologist with the Georgia Extension Office, will take a look at bacterial spot and other peach disease issues during the Jan. 31 meeting of the Chilton Area Peach Production at Alabama Power Company's Clanton Conference Center. The meeting is set for 4 to 8 p.m. With the contributions of fruit researchers across the southeast, Brannen publishes the Southeastern Regional Peach Newsletter, which is updated quarterly and can be viewed on-line at: http://resources.caes.uga.edu/publications/newsletters/SRPN/ At the Chilton Area Peach Meeting growers will get the latest peach research highlights on changing pest management options, San Jose scale control, resistance management for brown rot and much more.
