CONGRESSMAN DAVIS SETS FARM BILL LISTENING POST
MARION, Ala. -- As conversations begin this year about the reauthorization of the 2002 Farm Bill, U.S. Rep. Artur Davis is scheduled to host a Farm Bill Listening Post Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1-3 p.m., at the Marion Depot, 1200 South Washington St. in Marion. This event allows farmers from across the 7th Congressional District to inform Davis on issues as the debate over the Farm Bill gets underway. The congressman is seeking input on how Alabama farmers can compete fairly in an ever-expanding global market.
