PECAN GROWERS TO MEET SEPT. 21 IN FAIRHOPE
FAIRHOPE, Ala. -- The 46th annual convention of the Alabama Pecan Growers Association will be at the Gulf Coast Research & Extension Center auditorium in Fairhope, Sept. 21. The program will include pecan orchard management and variety selection, orchard rejuvenation, economics and integrated pest management. The meeting is open to anyone interested in commercial or recreational pecan production. The registration fee is $5 per person and includes lunch. Advance registration is not required. Onsite registration begins at 8 a.m. the day of the event.
