FEDERATION ANNOUNCES AGENDA FOR 85TH ANNUAL MEETING
MOBILE, Ala. -- An address by American Farm Bureau Federation President Bob Stallman and expanded Young Farmers contests will highlight the agenda for the Alabama Farmers Federation's 85th Annual Meeting Dec. 2-4 in Mobile. With "Homegrown Values" as its theme, the annual meeting agenda will include the Excellence in Agriculture Award and a Discussion Meet. In addition to these new programs, the Federation will recognize this year's Outstanding Young Farm Family at the annual meeting. That family will go on to compete nationally for the AFBF's Young Farmers and Ranchers Achievement Award. Other annual meeting activities will include the annual video report to members, an agriculture issues update by Dana Brooks of AFBF, a Sunday morning inspirational service featuring music by The Voices of Mobile, the voting delegate session, a Monday morning awards program and the Miss Alabama Agriculture and Talent Find contests.
