NORTH ALABAMA CONSERVATION TILLAGE WORKSHOP SET
DECATUR, Ala. -- A one-day conservation tillage workshop will be Feb. 1 at Wheeler Lake Wildlife Refuge near Decatur. The workshop is designed for farmers desiring to learn more about conservation tillage methods from other farmers and researchers. Topics to be covered include cover crop, weed management, fertility management, soil compaction, water relations, equipment, and farm programs. A field demonstration and equipment display will also be part of the workshop. Registration is $10 per person, and includes lunch.
