VEGETABLE MEETINGS SET IN CARROLLTON, ONEONTA
AUBURN, Ala. -- Alabama vegetable producers will learn about plasticulture and commercial vegetable production next week when the Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and Alabama Cooperative Extension System hosts meetings Monday in Carrollton and Thursday in Oneonta. Extension Vegetable Specialist Dr. Joe Kemble will cover "Plasticulture Vegetable Production" and Dr. Ed Sikora will discuss the "Top 10 Diseases of Vegetables," focusing on tomatoes and cucurbits including fungal, bacterial viral and nematode disorders during Monday's meeting in Carrollton.
