ALFA CORPORATION ANNOUNCES INCREASE IN QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Alfa Corporation (NASDAQ/ALFA) May 3 announced that its Board of Directors voted to increase the regular quarterly cash dividend to $0.1175 (eleven and three-quarter cents) per share. This represents the thirty-third consecutive year in which cash dividends have increased. The dividend is payable June 1, 2007, to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 15, 2007. Alfa Corporation is engaged in insurance and financial activities through its subsidiaries. The common stock of Alfa Corporation is traded on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol ALFA.
