MAKE A SPLASH WITH NEW MEMBER BENEFIT
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Alabama Farmers Federation members can now save $7 on admission to Alabama Adventure's Splash Beach Water Park and Magic City USA park in Birmingham."Since 1921, the Alabama Farmers Federation has been devoted to helping families," said Federation Organization Director Mike Tidwell. "This latest member benefit provides a great way for member families to enjoy one of our state's most exciting attractions, and with the discount, a family of four can save enough to pay their membership dues for an entire year." With more than $20 million in capital improvements since 2003, Alabama Adventure "is the greatest entertainment value in the state," said Adam Slovensky, marketing director for the parks.
Splash Beach Water Park features the 800,000-gallon Kahuna Waves wave pool surrounded by a real sand beach, the eight-story Acapulco Drop water slide, the Splashdown ride, and a children's favorite, the 25,000-square foot Castaway Island. Magic City USA theme park features Rampage, one of the top 10 wooden roller coasters in the United States. The park also is home to Marvel City, a mini amusement park for children. Thrill rides include Space Shot and Zoomerang, a looping roller coaster. Last year, more than 400,000 visited the park, and customer surveys show 98 percent said they would visit again.
Slovensky said additional improvements are planned, including a 280-room resort hotel with indoor water park, an RV park, additional rides and an expanded concert series. Under the new partnership with Alabama Farmers Federation, members get $7 off combination tickets to Splash Beach Water Park and Magic City USA theme park.
