BALL TO SPEAK TO MORGAN COUNTY RANCHERS
HARTSELLE, Ala. -- Dr. Don Ball, an Extension forage crop agronomist at Auburn University and author of "Practical Forage Concepts," will be the guest speaker at a Sept. 6 meeting at the Farm Service Center in Hartselle. The meeting, a joint effort of the Morgan County Farmers Federation and the Morgan County Cattlemen's Association, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a hot dog and hamburger cookout. The farm center is at 3120 Highway 36 West. Ball is considered one of the leading agronomists in the United States, having written hundreds of articles and publications of various types. He has also made presentations at more than 1,000 educational events and received numerous awards and honors.
