PRECISION AG & CROPS FIELD DAY SET SEPT. 5

EUFAULA, Ala. -- Digging peanuts with precision ag, cotton and soybean variety trials and a look at glyphosate-resistant pigweed control are among the topics on the agenda for Precision Ag & Crops Field Day on Sept. 5, 9 a.m., at the Corcoran Farm north of Eufaula.

Sponsored by the Alabama Farmers Federation, along with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and the Alabama Cotton Commission, the event will also look at new advancements in precision agriculture, yield monitoring and grid sampling and an equipment display.

The program will also feature a tour of the Corcoran Farm hosted by brothers Walt and Tom Corcoran.
