DOWNLOAD HIGHWAY SAFETY BROCHURE ONLINE
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The free brochure summarizing the new federal transportation regulations and how they affect Alabama farmers is now available for downloading. Developed by the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries and the Alabama Department of Public Safety with help from the Alabama Farmers Federation, "Alabama Highway Safety Requirements for Farmers" is a pamphlet-sized quick reference guide that farmers can keep in the glove compartment of their farm trucks. The guide offers a quick glance at vehicle descriptions, weight ratings and the law's requirements. Other sponsors of the pamphlets are the Alabama Cattlemen's Association, the Alabama Forestry Association, Alabama Nursery & Landscape Association and the Alabama Poultry and Egg Association.
