CLINIC TO FEATURE HORSEMAN JODY CUNNINGHAM
OPELIKA, Ala. -- Horseman Jody Cunningham, developer of the Cunningham Foundation Test, will be conducting a three-day horse clinic for all riding levels, disciplines and breeds Jan. 9-11 at Whatley Equestrian Center near Opelika. Featured in Western Horseman magazine, the Cunningham Foundation Test is a 10-maneuver test intended to evaluate just how "broke" your horse really is. The test will be part of the clinic, which will seek to create a partnership and build trust between horse and rider. The clinic will also address correcting unwanted behavior, and will cover ground and mounted work, round penning, lateral movements, obstacle course and cow work. A current negative Coggins test is required. No dogs are permitted. Spectators are admitted free, but the cost of the clinic is $450 per horse/rider. Stall rental is $15 for the weekend, and RV hook-ups are $30.
