NOMINATE A FARMER AS A 'SOUTHERN HERO'
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Know a farmer who gives back to the community? That's a question SouthernLINC Wireless is asking as part of its "Southern Heroes" contest. SouthernLINC is seeking nominations until Aug. 31 for three "Southern Heroes" who are as dedicated to helping their neighbors and community as they are to undertaking their everyday workloads. Each nominee chosen will see their charitable efforts furthered by a $2,009 contribution rewarded by SouthernLINC Wireless to an eligible, non-profit organization of the winner's choice. Selected nominees will also be recognized at a "hometown celebration" publicly acknowledging their achievements.
