ESTATE PLANNING, HEIR PROPERTY VIDEO CONFERENCES SET
AUBURN, Ala. -- The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is offering two video conferences in August to help Alabamians learn about estate planning and heir property issues.The Estate Planning video conference is Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in Duncan Hall, Room 112, on the Auburn University campus. Attorney and university professor Dr. Robert Tufts will discuss the purpose of an estate plan, your plan and Alabama's plan, basic documents in an estate plan and using wills and trusts. The program is free to the public. Pre-registration is requested but not required. The Heir Property video conference is Aug. 31 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. It is also in Duncan Hall, Room 112, on the AU campus. Craig Baab of Alabama Appleseed Center for Law and Justice will discuss basic information that families should know about owning and protecting heir property. The program is also free. Pre-registration is requested but not required. Both of the video conferences can be viewed from a desktop computer.
