ALFA LAUNCHES MY ALFA™ AND iPHONE APPLICATION
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Alfa Insurance® has released My Alfa™, a new Web site portal that allows policyholders to view policy information, make payments, request changes and print auto identification cards.
The new feature, released Monday, marks the second major Web site update for www.AlfaInsurance.com in the last year. Vice President of Corporate Internet and E-Business Walter Overby said My Alfa™ is just one of the ways Alfa™ is working to make doing business with the company even easier.
"This is the one-stop shop for customer service -- improving the way Alfa does business," Overby said. "This is just the first step in more online features designed to meet the rapidly changing demands of customers. Alfa is dedicated to providing superior customer service whether at the local office, the call center or online. It's up to the customers, and we're here to serve them, wherever they choose to do business with Alfa."
To begin using My Alfa, customers should go to www.AlfaInsurance.com and click on the "Register Now" link located under the My Alfa™ log-in box on the home page. To ensure private information is protected, customers are required to provide policy numbers during the registration process. This information can be found on policy declarations and billing notices. Policyholders who need assistance with their My Alfa registration may call 1-800-964-2532, seven days a week, 6 a.m. to midnight.
My Alfa is part of Alfa's renewed commitment to provide outstanding, personalized service. Executive Vice President of Business Development Steve Rutledge said My Alfa is a good example of the company changing to meet and exceed customer expectations.
"When you consider an enhancement to customer service, you must first consider what it is that the customers want," Rutledge said. "It is clear that customers want to buy and service policies online. As we consider improvements in customer service, we must consider all channels that customers want to use and create the best environment possible."
In addition to the new Web site changes, Alfa recently launched Alfa2Go, a mobile application for the iPhone. Key features include an agent locator, accident checklist, tow service locator, glass claim reporting and a list of member benefits. Additional functions are being developed for the second release of Alfa2Go, and applications also are in the works for other smartphone devices. Alfa2Go can be downloaded from the Apple app store by searching for "Alfa Insurance."
