ALABAMA FOOD AND FARM FORUM SET DEC. 2-4
SELMA, Ala. -- Farm tours, practical workshops, sessions on farm and food policy and a free screening of Dirt! The Movie will be part of the fourth annual Alabama Food and Farm Forum, presented by the Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network, Dec. 2-4, at Wallace State Community College in Selma.

The begins Thursday with a bus tour (includes lunch) to the Alabama Rural Heritage Center, Pie Lab and Holmestead Company.
The forum begins in earnest on Friday with sessions on youth in agriculture, energy and sustainable farming innovations, along with the traditional All-Alabama Dinner-Fest on Friday night.
Single-day registration is $25 (or $50 for both Friday and Saturday sessions). Youth registration is $10. The Friday night dinner is an additional $25.
The forum is sponsored by the USDA, Selma Chamber of Commerce, National Voting Rights Museum, Wallace Community College, Heifer International, the Organic Farming Research Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Gateway Foundation and others.
