ELMORE COUNTY GOAT & SHEEP COMMITTEE TO HOST 'LIFE ON THE FARM'

Goats and sheep are stars of show at 'Life On The Farm' event.

WETUMPKA, Ala. -- The Elmore County Farmers Federation's Sheep and Goat Committee will present its fourth annual "Life On The Farm" event Saturday, March 19, 9 a.m., at the Elmore County Ag Center, 340 Queen Ann Road, Wetumpka.

The event will feature a sheep and goat photo contest, a goat meat cook-off, a youth market meat and breeding doe show, Robert Spencer on "Goat 101", a hoof trimming and goat grooming demonstration, music, goat cheese-making and more.
