The session will include farmers from Alabama's Second Congressional District speaking about relevant issues in agriculture. After an hour of presentations by farmers, the session will be open for discussion and comments.
As a member of the House Committee on Agriculture, Roby shares the responsibility of writing the House version of the 2012 Farm Bill.
Other members of the Committee on Agriculture throughout the country are hosting similar events to ensure farmers throughout the U.S. are able to voice their opinions and concerns. This will be the first of a series of opportunities for citizens of the second district to inform Roby of the programs important to them.
