U.S. REP. TERRI SEWELL MEETS WITH SUPPORTERS
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell of Alabama's 7th congressional district met with friends and supporters at the Alabama Farmers Federation headquarters in Montgomery Tuesday evening.

Sewell serves on the House Agriculture Committee where she is a member of the subcommittee on Rural Development, Research, Biotechology and Foreign Agriculture. She also serves on the subcommittee for General Farm Commodities and Risk Management.
Additionally, Sewell serves on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology where she is a member of the subcommittee for Space and Aeronautics and the subcommittee on Research and Science Education.
Raised in Selma, Sewell is a Harvard Law School graduate. She was elected to congress in November 2010.
