IMMIGRATION LAW EDUCATION FOCUS OF FALL SEMINARS
A series of fall seminars aimed at educating farmers about the state's new immigration law begins Thursday, Oct. 27 at the McGukin Civic Center in Cullman. The seminars are being conducted by Alabama Employers for Immigration Reform (ALEIR), of which the Alabama Farmers Federation is a member. ALEIR will teach employers and farmers how to be in compliance with the new law. Dates and locations of the ALEIR seminars are:
- Cullman, Oct. 27 at McGukin Civic Center, 510 5th Street SW, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Mobile, Nov. 3 at Mobile Convention Center Room 204A, One South Water Street, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Dothan, Nov. 4 at Sony Hall of the Troy University -- Dothan Campus, 500 University Drive, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Tuscaloosa, Nov. 18, at North River Yacht Club, 8405 New Watermelon Road, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
