SESSIONS TO VISIT HALE, GENEVA COUNTIES NEXT WEEK
GREENSBORO, Ala. — U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., will make two agriculture-related stops in Alabama next week - visiting Hale County Monday and Geneva County Wednesday.
Sessions will visit Auburn University's Fish Farming Center in Greensboro Monday, April 30 at 2:30 p.m., where he will meet with catfish farmers and learn about the latest in industry operations and production. He will also provide an update from Washington about budget, agriculture and trade issues. Sessions has long championed efforts to ensure that U.S. catfish farmers are not harmed by foreign imports that do not meet domestic quality standards.

Wednesday, Sessions will attend the USDA Agriculture Forum at the Wiregrass Electric Cooperative at 2 p.m., where he will discuss agricultural issues impacting the state along with Ag Forum co-host Ronnie Davis of USDA. Sessions recently cosponsored legislation to help protect the rights of family farmers.
